July 2013, Irene Gomez´s rendition of Granada (I. Albeniz), has been chosen by the Juilliard Alumni Office as “Video of the Month”.

In June Irene Gómez is invited to National Radio to talk about her career, the guitar in her country and her experience as a worldwide concert player. Irene received one of the few copies that this important cultural radio station in Colombia made of historic recordings of the guitar between 1968-1978.
Every Friday evening The Dolphin Book Shop, a visited place by President Obama, invites a musician or poet to perform. On March, Irene was the guest of this cozy warm place in Long Island.

Cakike Foundation is an educative organization that allow to children of few resources to study the classical music. They provide this great opportunity to many children that otherwise would not have this possibility. It was very special for me to get to know them and share my music with all of them.
